Summer is almost here and that means one thing – people are going to travel more. This means plane rides, long car rides, swimming, eating lots of sweet treats, just to name a few things. And while the thought of going on a long trip is so very nice, it means we are not always in our normal routine. Being out of our normal routine may cause our urinary system to feel a bit off and who wants that during a summer trip?! This summer, pack your confidence and leave the worries at home because it’s time to make some fun summer memories!
This summer issue covers topics around travel, being active and your urinary system. The focus of our feature article with Dr. Suzette Sutherland is to unpack how travel impacts your urinary system. Some of the other topics we explore include healthy summer habits, kidney stones, incontinence and being active with an ileal conduit.
