BALTIMORE, Feb. 8, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Urology Care Foundation, the world's leading nonprofit urological health foundation and official foundation of the American Urological Association, is pleased to welcome Badar Mian, MD, as the next Secretary of the Board of Directors.
The Secretary provides leadership and guidance for the Foundation and leads fundraising activities. He or she builds relationships and participates in pursuing philanthropic support for the Foundation.

Nagler, MD, Urology Care Foundation president. “He is a proven leader in supporting our humanitarian initiatives and improving health care in communities of need. Dr. Mian is a professor of urology at Albany Med Health System in Albany, New York, and is a uro-oncologist with a primary clinical and research focus on the diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for prostate cancer and other genitourinary tract malignancies. He works, with support of local donors, to engage those from underprivileged areas within his region by providing free access to medical advice and guidance.
Dr. Mian has supported the Urology Care Foundation’s efforts to expand its humanitarian program to treat and train physicians to support underserved areas and has been instrumental in donating two Humanitarian Endowment funds.
